That opening by Tetsurou Araki might be the first and last time we see a good looking Sakamoto Days "adaptation" in animated form. A small glimpse at what could have been... Really good, but also extremely sad.
Holy fucking episode. I'm ngl when part A of the episode ended i was utterly dissapointed with the execution and thought the episode would fall flat for me in the end, but jesus fucking christ, Part B nailed every single aspect to almost a perfect degree, Koyama saved us indeed.
Pretty much my thoughts, i'd even dare to say that since W7 the power scale started making no sense. So i still don't understand how is that a big portion of the agenda warriors from the series are power-scallers, like WHY? you're just gonna hit a wall every single time...

The Kuma fb has been such a disappointment in the anime (production-wise), not a single episode has been "terrible" (1131 and 1133 were close), but none has been great either. Only episode 1136 (chapter 1102) can save us, and if it ends up being mediocre I might just end it all

This is probably the only time i've actually laughed out loud while reading OP. Imho, if you only read the manga you probably won't notice much of a change, cause it's the anime that was SO good at handling comedy pre-ts compared to now, that every single gag feels dragged out

Don't hate it at all, even quite like it tbh, i know some of you (me included) would've liked to see the Holy Knights or Gaban, but compared to some of the sketches Oda drew of them, this one looks waaay better composition wise, and a bit of fresh air

I think the best part of working with this style compared to the manga one is that I can actually have separate renders of each character, instead of just having one whole piece.
