We love waking up to ourselves on the home page 😊 My latest for the @GeorgiaRecorder on the #GASen race and the GOP drama unfolding behind the scenes: georgiarecorder.com/2025/07/27/kem…

I think it also speaks to how terrible it is to be Republican Senator in the age of Trump. Kemp and Sununu would rather do literally anything else than being nagged about Trump’s Truth Social posts by Manu Raju on a daily basis and it’s really hard to blame them
I’m no political expert, but a popular Democratic former governor (Roy Cooper) running for Senate in NC & two popular Republican governors/former governors not running for Senate in GA & NH (Brian Kemp & Chris Sununu) tells a pretty clear story about the expected 2026 electorate.
Collins’ Senate bid leaves open the deeply conservative northeast Georgia district he won in 2022. Among the most prominent likely contenders is state Rep. Houston Gaines, an Athens Republican with roughly $900,000 in his campaign account. #gapol
Just in: U.S. Rep. Mike Collins entered a suddenly reshaped GOP race for U.S. Senate in Georgia with a pledge to carry out President Donald Trump’s agenda and “take back control” of the seat from Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff. #gapol ajc.com/politics/2025/…
🔥🔥🔥
I have thought on it and prayed about it, and I have decided: I am running to be the next U.S. Senator from North Carolina.
With former TN coach Derek Dooley looking likely to enter the race with Brian Kemp's support the GOP sure looks like it's headed for the messy primary it had hoped to avoid (a similar dynamic is already playing out in the gov race lol) #GASen
I'm in.
So far, all I know about Derek Dooley is he: -has 0 political experience -coached Georgia’s rivals -is a carpetbagger So either Kemp knows something I don’t about this guy, or he doesn’t know shit and just wants to do a favor for a childhood friend.
A new column from @NilesGApol: Gov. Brian Kemp might have nudged John King out of the U.S. Senate race, but his involvement doesn’t seem to be deterring other candidates — at least not yet. #gapol georgiarecorder.com/2025/07/27/kem…
With Roy Cooper running for Senate I think it’s worth pointing out how much the country has changed on the one issue that single handily won him the governorship nearly 10 years ago
It’s important to remember that Lee was a General of a fake unrecognized nation, he was never a US General.
I don't know if anybody is gonna snap the Sincaraz streak in the next year but if any AMERICAN player can do it...
Ben Shelton 🔥
Who won?
Who was the better General, Ulysses Grant or Robert E. Lee?
I need people to understand how the game works and stop pushing this whole narrative every time a super champ’s run ends. The game was going his way right up until his opponent found both of the DDs in the second round. The whole thing is called “JEOPARDY” for a reason people
I think Scott lost on purpose. He only gets the money after his shows air and at the end of his run. By losing today, Scott gets a nice payout and a summer of fun #jeopardy #LOL #JK
Looks like that détente between Kemp and Trump is showing signs of crumbling…#GASen foxnews.com/politics/trump…
I used to love this girl and supported her with all my heart, but I just can't stand this friendship with Kyrgios, the victim mentality, crying at press conferences, and apologizing for just living. Our girl is lost and I think tennis is not for her anymore
Studio 54 never had a slow night!
what happened in 1979?
Breaking: Georgia Insurance Commissioner John King dropped out of the U.S. Senate race Thursday after a private meeting with Gov. Brian Kemp, ending his bid to unseat Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff about two months after launching his campaign. #gapol ajc.com/politics/2025/…
Gov. Brian Kemp is making a late push to help lay the groundwork for former football coach Derek Dooley’s U.S. Senate bid — directly telling Insurance Commissioner John King and U.S. Reps. Mike Collins and Buddy Carter he won’t support their campaigns. ajc.com/politics/2025/…
