U.S. metro areas where over 5% of the population uses public transit to commute
Taking measurement at a General Electric Turbine factory 1948
President Trump, “They tell me you’re going to need double the electric we have right now.” - I agree!
In the epic clash of dirty rocks vs the sun, the most powerful energy source in the solar system and literal source of all life, my money is on the sun.
Good illustration of how much the Texas grid has changed in just 6 years. yellow = solar; purple = batteries; dark green = wind; blue = gas; brown = coal; light green = nuke via @grid_status
well that’s something
#NRCAdvisory: We've accepted for review a construction permit application from Tennessee Valley Authority for a small modular reactor in Clinch River, Tennessee. nrc.gov/docs/ML2518/ML…

There’s only one clean energy superpower on earth, and it’s not us

Folks, @ElonMusk is 100% right, and he understands this issue better than anyone. We should take his warnings seriously. We can’t let Communist China become the long-term winner.
Yes. A massive strategic error is being made right now to damage solar/battery that will leave America extremely vulnerable in the future.
Wow Tillis on floor just criticized GOP moving wind/solar credits to strict "placed in service" standard. Appeared to criticize Alex Epstein, who influenced the language. Tillis called him "a self-described philosopher" who's "never worked in an operational role" in power sector
You can’t get a gas turbine if you wanted one! It’s literally solar or its power shortages. The only question is how much will solar cost.
More Tillis: Says solar is "increasingly becoming viable because of storage" and is key to meeting data center power demand. "What you have done is you have created a blip in power service because there isn't going to be a natural gas power generator any time soon."
"If enacted, this stands to be the biggest job-killing bill in the history of this country...equivalent of terminating more than 1,000 keystone XL pipeline projects." @NABTU
