It has been 5 years and 6 days since the last time I was sick. The only difference between my day to day life now and pre-2020 when I got three colds a year is that my partner and I wear earloop respirators in shared air with others. That’s it. Everything else is the same.
The 1955 article is just from some random newspaper: newspapers.com/article/the-co… I split the clipping into columns to make it easier to read, with the full story clipping in the fourth image. No alt text because it's so far over character limits it's not even worth bothering
PSA: If the plane doesn’t burn, you’ll get your bag back if you just leave it on the plane. I’m not judging the people with small person items like backpacks and purses as much, but LEAVE YOUR FUCKING CARRY ON!

1) So this fascist shitbird forgot to take his phone number off of his website before posting this trash, by the way. Let’s see what else he said next⬇️
Why does anyone think that Trump’s base will let the Epstein files go? Half his fucking base are actually just Qanon followers who only support him because they think he’ll release the list
The U.S. government is trying to require that ALL social media apps require ID by pushing online age verification under the guise of “child safety”. We need to do everything in our power to fight back
moving forward friends pls never use an app that requires ur ID.
“pedro pascal pissed jk rowling off so bad she hired a pr firm to smear his name online” sounds so fake that i immediately believe it
You’re telling me there’s a PR firm that was hired to attack Pedro Pascal?
I really think there’s gonna be a Tenerife 2.0 by the end of the year
What the fuck were newspaper in the 1970s??? More like the Austin American-Statesman/Nosy-Neighbor, amiright?

I've spent the day digging through digitized newspaper archives (working on a hunch, but that's not important right now), but some of the items I've incidentally found are so surprising. Check out this (obviously wrong) hypothesis about viral links to Parkinson's from 1967:

The biggest story on US twitter being an app leaking all of it’s users ID’s while in the UK it’s the government rolling out ID verification to access the internet and claiming it’s perfectly safe
Well that’s a fun little nightmare. ‘“If you got boiling water poured on your skin, it would have a similar appearance to that,” said Chase Guindon, the P.E.I. Invasive Species Council’s coordinator.’ Be on the lookout, I guess
