NESO declares wind had its highest o/p in June then has to admit we had too much wind & that gave rise to v.high constraint costs .Dogger Bank(3.6GW) now being commissiond along with onshore Scottish wind its only going one way.@7Kiwi @KathrynPorter26 @latimeralder @aDissentient

From tomorrows Telegraph front page @greensignallers @Captain_Deltic

More largesse increased Clean Industry Bonus 200m>544m. National Wealth Fund invests 600m in Scottish Pwr grid upgrade. No guarantees of UK jobs in fact already know much of EGL1 kit and install vessels going overseas. Where are the UK green jobs? @NetZeroWatch @GMB_union
Another s/stn fire in London UKPN this time but another vintage transformer no major outage this time londonnewsonline.co.uk/wp-content/upl… @KathrynPorter26

Common sense breaking out (from oilprice.com) @7Kiwi @latimeralder @aDissentient @EyesOnThePriz12

Good to see more UK green jobs oh....renews.biz/99909/hsm-wins… @The_TUC when are you going to stand up for British jobs. Reality is almost all the kit for windfarms ends up overseas. @TiceRichard
So renewable websites eg renews.biz/99894/first-ho… celebrating Hornsea 3 converter s/stn heading from Thailand to Norway to get kitted out. But where are the UK green jobs?@TUC @latimeralder @7Kiwi @KathrynPorter26 @TiceRichard

So next energy cap will be down if this is sustained. What will Ed ascribe that to not the fall in gas prices i suspect.@7Kiwi @latimeralder @EyesOnThePriz12

Reported in this weeks transparency call neso.energy/document/35749… analysis of loss of 3 DRAX units last Friday at 0851. Frequency contained but then with Inertia of 276.4GVAs should hope so. Real test will be at 120GVA.@KathrynPorter26

NESO spent £320m in Dec in the Balancing Mechanism after 220m the previous month. The majority is on constraints and represents wind energy being thrown away. Should be a national scandal.
