Changed my Lock Screen finally. That was painful but WORTH IT.
I did, in fact, fly to NY for exactly 24 hours specifically to see Call Me Izzy and then go right home. Worth it!!
I was walking to the tattoo parlour about 45 minutes after stagedoor and a woman was walking behind us and goes “oh my god were you the girl that got her arm signed by Jean?!” News travels fast 😂
Jean is incredibly kind at stage door. There was a woman in front of us who had like 5 different photos for Jean to sign, and she sat there and signed every single one. They don’t rush anyone through the line. Genuine 10/10 experience.
By the way, I LOVED Call Me Izzy. Jean is obviously fantastic, but I enjoyed the play itself as well. The DV scenes were far more tame than I thought they would be and the show focused more on Izzy’s writing 10/10
