Neuro CRU is proud to take part in the largest imaging biomarker study for individuals with #FriedreichsAtaxia #FA. Results of baseline assessment of TRACK-FA were published in the Annals of Neurology. Differences with control group already apparent. bit.ly/trackfabase

NeuroCRU exec dir @ZivGanOr gave a keynote talk at @SleepEurope virtual congress discussing his lab’s work on the genetics of #RBD, allowing researchers to find #genetic targets like #GBA1 for #drugdevelopment and to identify patients who'll progress rapidly in clinical trials.

Abstract submission is open until April 10! We already have close to 50 abstracts, 10-15 of which will be selected for talks, and the rest will be presented as posters. ALL GBA1.
Hurry up and register to the GBA1 meeting in Montreal, June 5-7! And make use of the discounted hotel rooms at the conference venue! More details, including preliminary program, in the link below. Also - very generous travel awards for trainees! give.michaeljfox.org/event/gba1-mee…
CRU exec director @ZivGanOr was in Vienna for #RARE2025 to discuss his lab’s work understanding #GBA1, the genetic mutation behind a rare subtype of #Parkinsons. The CRU works to offer the most advanced investigational therapies for rare diseases, including RNA and gene therapies

#IDWGS
Clinical trial at @TheNeuro_MNI testing #RNA therapy for #priondisease like #CJD or #GSS ranked in @NatureMedicine as one of the top trials that will shape medicine in 2025. Info: cru.mcgill.ca. #McGill
