Announcing the 2025 Nelson Co HOF. Jessie Beavers. Jessie was a two sport athlete in football/ basketball. Jessie is still the fourth leading scorer in NC boys basketball history.

Announcing the 2025 Nelson Co HOF class. Melissa “Minnie” Conner. Melissa was a two sport athlete in basketball/track. Melissa still owns several school track records.

Announcing the Nelson Co HS 2025 HOF class. Glenn Stone played football at Nelson Co. Glenn played QB/HB and his senior season became the first 1,000 yd rusher in school history. Glenn is responsible for the many facilities upgrades at NCHS. The current FB Fieldhouse is just one.

Announcing the 2025 Nelson Co Hall of Fame class. First is the Old Ky Home HS 1965 state runner up football team coach by Milton “Red” Graham. The Wildcats defeated Boyle Co and Glasgow only to be defeated by Erlanger Lloyd in the state finals at UK’s Stoll Field.

Another busy night of the campus of Nelson Co HS. Youth football practice, youth camp in boys soccer and football, and girls varsity soccer practice. Great facilities allows for these many events to occur. Go Cards.

Nelson Co traveled to Caldwell Co tonight for 7 on 7 competition. The 2025 season is fast approaching. Cards open season August 23 vs Shelby Co in the Don Franklin Auto Bowl game hosted by NCHS.

Last night was a busy night at Nelson Co HS campus. Football 7 on 7 with Central Hardin, Bethlehem, and Hart Co. Varsity soccer practice, Lady Card basketball camp, over 100 little league football players practicing. Fall sports are underway on campus.
