I was disappointed not to have been able to attend @mpftnhs Redwoods Summer Festival today and to visit the gardens, however @CathyRiley123 Alex Brett and Feroz Patel look like they had a great time!

I really enjoyed meeting the under and post graduate design students from @wlv_uni today who were creating murals with help from our patients. They also had some other supervisors - our 🦆 family which has expanded significantly - we have duck families in most ward gardens now!

The Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent Talking Therapies Midsummer Conference takes place tomorrow. The Centre is all set up with a fabulous roster of speakers addressing the 400 strong team. Their new Therapy Bus is to be formally unveiled on the day but here is a sneak preview…

Not only is supporting CAW important @mpftnhs are also linking this work to our Green Agenda as 1m incontinence pads are used each day in the UK-most are sent to landfill/incinerated, some end up in the sea affecting marine life-most pads are 80% plastic&take 500yrs to degrade

So important to support World Continence Awareness Week & @mpftnhs Specialist Pelvic Health Team in their #disposewithdignity campaign who are also working with @ProstateUK in their #BoysNeedBins campaign by installing hygiene bins in male toilets across our sites in Staffs & SOT
