On this Remembrance Day, we honour the sacrifices made by so many brave souls. A privilege to lay a wreath at the Rawalpindi War Cemetery. May the memory of their service live on with us.

Today marks the birthday anniversary of my great-grandfather,Mir Dast (on the left). This newly released photo was taken in Chunian Lahore,1911. In 1908,he received the Indian Order of Merit & in 1915,he was awarded the Victoria Cross for bravery,making him VC & Bar. @BelgiumISB

This #RemembranceWeek, we honor the bravery of all soldiers who gave their lives in the World Wars. Among them, three men from present-day Pakistan were awarded the Victoria Cross for extraordinary gallantry: Khudadad Khan VC, Mir Dast VC & Shahamad Khan VC. Lest we forget.
