Sat 7/26 340am: Heat ramps back up to hazardous levels by Sunday, when heat index values in the triple digits appear possible. Even hotter for Monday, when dangerous heat index values of 105 or greater appear possible.

8:40 PM Radar Update: Storms have really taken off across South Central Minnesota in the last hour or so. Have not seen any severe storms with this cluster but heavy rain, frequent lightning, and some gusty winds will all be possible as this translates east/southeast
5:55 PM Radar Update: The outflow boundary is working its way south pretty clearly on radar. It's brought some cooler air behind it to give some reprieve from the blistering heat/humidity from earlier. Storms remain sub-severe and really only posing a heavy rain/lightning threat

[10:00 am] What heat? Don't be fooled by the cloud and rain this morning, much of Iowa is clear (green) and that area is heating up rapidly with tropical humidity...and it is all moving northeast into the local area. By afternoon, it will be HOT south of I-94.
