Active weather continues across eastern Micronesia with scattered to widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms seen along the ITCZ. Quieter conditions are seen across the Marianas while scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are seen across western Micronesia. #GUwx

A moist southwesterly monsoon flow will keep the weather active for Palau, Yap, Guam, and the CNMI. This wind flow will maintain high moisture values across the region, with locally heavy rainfall possible from time to time. #GUWX

The last Special Weather Statement (SPS) has been issued for the Marianas regarding Invest 97W. Due to a continuing southwest monsoon pattern, expect occasional upticks in heavy rain and gusty winds the next several days. A Flood Watch remains in effect through Sunday night.

A pattern change is expected this week for the Marianas starting with some island showers and thunderstorms on Monday. Towards the middle of the week, the chance of showers will increase, with heavy rain possible on Friday. #GUwx

JTWC Invest 95W is expected to become a tropical cyclone within the next 24 hours. Numerous to widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected across the far northern CNMI. For Guam and Saipan, there will be no impacts from Invest 95W. #GUwx

JTWC designated Invest 95W this morning, currently located northeast of Uracas/Farallon de Pajaros. Invest 95W is not expected to impact Guam or the CNMI up to Saipan. Heavy showers will be likely for Alamagan and points northward. #GUwx
