This morning, NVCOG joined @GovNedLamont, Mayor Lauretti, and DECD in Shelton to announce a $2.97M state grant to remediate the former Chromium Processing Site, Axton Cross, and Cel'Lastik Site, paving the way for 120+ units of housing, retail space, and a parking garage.

This Earth Day, NVCOG staff installed an infrared pedestrian counter along the Scovill Trail at Woodtick Recreation Area! 🌳 The counter detects changes in temperature when people pass by, tracking trail use 24/7. We’ll keep it out for most of the summer to help estimate use.
