looking back on this i now realize that this was the writer's early attempts to draw a parallel between willow and buffy's arcs this season, and i'm sorry but it just isn't hitting
they keep drawing this parallel between tara and giles— but tara leaving her addict gf who mind raped her, is NOT the same as giles leaving his depressed, 20 year old daughter figure who is raising a child on her own
