Today we deployed an acoustic receiver from @OceanTracking and did 3 biodiversity surveys. Freedivers assessed kelp beds and eelgrass ecosystems. A good day 👍

We have to bring all our freshwater with us for the expedition

All this week, I’ll be exploring the Eastern Shore Islands. Backcountry expeditions are my favourite. I’ll post when I can.

The fog keeps things nice and cool even on those hot summer days. Also the ocean breezes.
