Ok Nebraska, we need the exact opposite of whatever this driver decided was a good idea. 25MPH over the speed limit in an active construction, while zipping in and out of traffic posing an extreme risk to drivers and construction workers! 🚧

This afternoon, Troopers will be honored to escort the remains of U.S. Army Pvt. Erwin Schopp from Omaha to Beatrice, where he will be laid to rest alongside family on Friday. This Nebraska hero was only recently identified among the many who died as a POW in the WWII.
HDQ Troopers, and our local agencies did some fantastic work to safely apprehend this dangerous suspect early this morning!

Trp. Ali #NSP229 stopped this driver last night near Milford, NE in a 65 mile per hour zone. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day are referred to the deadliest 100 days for road users, and speed is a big factor in serious injury and fatality crashes in Nebraska. Slow Down!

Incredibly thankful to report that our Trooper is alert, in good spirits, and will be OK after her cruiser was struck tonight in Omaha. The trooper was inside the vehicle, parked, with emergency lights activated, when the cruiser was struck by a passing truck.
At 120 mph+ weaving through traffic without an endorsement... These dangerous behaviors are unacceptable, and your vehicle/bike will be towed. Please slow down and drive responsibly.
