Celebratory bank holiday?

Hopefully this is the start of some sort of barrier to our children having unfettered access to pornographic and violent content. I’ve got not doubt that in the future we will look back at what our children were exposed to in the early days of the internet in absolute horror.

I know lots of amazing people in education who wouldn’t have joined the sector without the Teach First offer. Any move that forces TF, one of the best known brands on campus, to use a new “neutral brand” controlled by the DfE on campus is completely nuts. observer.co.uk/news/politics/…

Loved speaking at the @shiftukorg conference this morning. Mostly loved seeing so many great people in one space, and all thinking about children in or close to custody and how we can better care for them.

Thinking of all those spending all but 2 hours of today sharing 6 by 8 foot cell with a window that doesn't open and no air conditioning. Also thinking of all those staff who are working long shifts on incredibly hot prison landings looking after those in prison today.
