When the Knighthawks won their first championship in 1997, just lifting the trophy was an impressive feat.

Rochester's professional lacrosse history can be traced back to the 1970s and the original National Lacrosse League. The Rochester Griffins won a title in their first season of play, defeating the Philadelphia Wings for the 1974 title.

Four shorthanded goals? Yeah, that sounds like Paul Gait.
Matt Vinc made a last-second save on Rhys Duch to secure back-to-back titles for the Rochester Knighthawks in 2013. His final stop capped off nearly 12 minutes of shutout ball as the K-Hawks held on against the Washington Stealth.
The Rochester Knighthawks were the first franchise to win three straight titles in NLL history, beginning with a 9-6 triumph against the Edmonton Rush in 2012.
