Happy Chesapeake Bay Awareness Week! Today, we are bringing attention to the Great Blue Heron which is native to MD. The great blue heron is a tall, bluish-gray wading bird that lives year-round in marshes and wetlands throughout the Chesapeake Bay region. bit.ly/3Hum2JB

🍓 Team bonding at its sweetest! Today, our team spent the day at Butler’s Orchard picking fresh strawberries, enjoying the sunshine, and saying hello to some adorable farm animals 🐐🐓🌻
Today, we got to have a workday with Poolesville’s Global Ecology program. Students were able to learn about native plants, gain hands-on experience restoring the environment and learn about different environmental jobs. 16 years of making eco-moves and counting! 💪🌱



My Friday in the Community was a whirlwind today. ✅ tour of the @MyGreenMC Recycling Center ✅ graduation ceremony for the Amber Entrepreneurs @blackcollective ✅ strategy session @BlackRockCenter to plan for the next fiscal year. All excellent programs!!
