Education is important. Start with a certificate than you move up to a diploma or degree. After that, you aim towards a master's or a PhD. Do it at your pace. You CAN do it. Regardless of how old you are. BUILD YOURSELF UP! Wena, YOU CAN! Just believe in yourself.
In medicine, applied mathematics is the quiet force behind life-saving breakthroughs — from modeling the spread of diseases to fine-tuning radiation therapy. When you do the math, you’re not just crunching numbers — you’re helping save lives. Prof. TB
Applied math develops techniques like: •Finite difference methods •Finite element methods •Runge-Kutta methods •Monte Carlo simulations under numerical methods. These are used to approximate solutions to differential equations, integrals that can’t be solved exactly.
How does it apply to scientific computing
Parents, Please ENCOURAGE your children to take math serious. Math is far easier than an English paper. Math isn’t difficult, math is a shy system comprising of formulas that can change lives. Like money, math is shy but so enriching! Prof. TB
Applied math is the language machines are learning to understand. From self-driving cars to virtual assistants, it’s math that makes intelligence artificial — and astonishing. Your formulas today are the code of tomorrow’s minds. Prof. TB
Markets move, crises erupt, and policy decisions reshape nations — and behind it all is applied mathematics. It doesn’t just measure the economy, it models its heartbeat. With every equation, you influence how the world spends, saves, and survive. Prof. TB
Skyscrapers stand tall, planes fly, and smartphones function because applied mathematics makes them possible. It’s not just about formulas — it’s about building the future with logic, structure, and vision. Prof. TB
Every heartbeat monitored, every drug dose optimized, every pandemic curve flattened — applied mathematics is the invisible hand guiding modern medicine. When you apply math here, you’re not just solving problems — you’re extending lives. Prof. TB
Agreed. Same goes to Applied Computer Science. It teaches us how to think logically to create solutions.
I always tell people life is a numbers game. Numbers shape everything. Master numbers, you master life. Am no mathematician but I have learned to approach most things with a mathematical perspective.
True. As the theoretical mathematicians. We are super happy when our abstract thoughts are applied to solve real-world problems by siblings- applied mathematicians.
Behind every smart machine is a smarter equation. Applied math fuels AI — from neural networks to natural language processing. When you master the math, you shape the intelligence of tomorrow. Prof. TB
Economics thrives on patterns, predictions, and precision — all gifts of applied mathematics. From modeling inflation to designing fairer systems, your math skills shape policies, economies, and the daily lives of millions. Prof. TB
Engineers build bridges and machines, but it’s applied mathematics that makes them work. Every design, every algorithm, every innovation is powered by your ability to turn problems into solutions with math as your toolkit. Prof. TB
In Applied Mathematics, every equation you solve is a blueprint for change. Prof. TB
Applied math is the silent architect of progress — it transforms abstract thought into real-world solutions. Whether it’s predicting weather patterns, optimizing healthcare systems, or building smarter technology, applied math is how we engineer the future. Prof. TB
I find maths far far EASIER than an English paper. I SWEAR!
God’s favorite humans who been riding on intellectual privilege since birth stress me. What do you mean mathematics isn’t difficult? 😂
I agree with you. I always told my learners that because you can prove your answers in Mathematics that makes it much more easier than writing an English paper where sometimes marking is subjective
all the straight As students i know personally and i’ve seen online are never As on their english paper. i understand why. as for you, with what i’ve seen, you’re a genius.
