I get that, not saying he’s a democrat or anything, He’d likely keep out of politics entirely, the sole exception being if people were getting hurt, and yeah I think he’d stand against the people sending tens of thousands of innocents to torture prisons and tear gassing babies.
"Hates oppression" does not mean "Hates the political opponent I don't like" If that were true, Sonic would absolutely despise all politicians because all politicians, regardless of politics, cause suffering to some degree He doesn't do this because he doesn't care about politics
