Easy answer no one competes with Nintendo. They dominate their segment, family games. Whereas PlayStation and Xbox are/were competitors & bedfellows where very little separates their catalog from one another.
there's no console war but if there was, nintendo definitely won, exclusivity is what sells their consoles, which is why they'll never go multiplatform. they have no reason to. xbox and sony, I dunno wtf they're doing.
