MonCo was spared from major flooding after Mon night's heavy rains that deeply impacted parts of NJ, sweeping vehicles away&unfortunately claiming the lives of 2 people.Flash flooding is dangerous&water moves at an extremely fast pace.@SheriffGolden urges all to take precautions.

MCSO's MedStar reached a milestone by responding to 10,000 calls for service since its launch in 2024.@SheriffGolden commends the MedStar team who work tirelessly assisting towns by providing lifesaving emergency medical srvcs.TY to first responders,career&volunteer for gr8 work.

.@SheriffGolden welcomes 62 recruits to the Mon Co Police Acad as they begin to prepare for a career in law enforcement.These future officers will undergo 22 weeks of training which will enable them to serve&protect w integrity, honor&commitment. MCSO wishes all the best of luck.

#SheriffGolden was proud to host Landing Zone Education Training last evening at #MCSONJ in partnership with @HMHNewJersey Health. Over 90 1st Responders attended to enhance their response capabilities & ensure safe & efficient air medical operations. #Training #EMS

.@SheriffGolden was proud to swear in nine new members of the #MCSONJ's Law Enforcement Division who will now begin training at the Monmouth County Police Academy. The entire staff welcomes all and looks forward to watching them become law enforcement professionals. Congrats.

Big congrats to the recruits of the 32nd Sheriff Youth Week class who graduated during a ceremony tonight. For one week 67 HS aged students explored various areas of law enforcement and emergency ops. @SheriffGolden and the #MCSONJ are proud of all and wish them the best of luck.




Day 4 of Sheriff Youth Week was all about strength, endurance, and teamwork! Our recruits took on a fun-filled day packed with physical challenges — from rock climbing to a 5K run and plenty of exercises in between. #SheriffGolden is proud of all they’ve accomplished!
Day 3 of Sheriff Youth Week at the STARS facility was action packed. Recruits explored MedStar&OEM ops, a vehicle simulator, a MOCERT exercise,drone& Project Lifesaver demos,K9 Unit&more. @sheriffgolden is proud to offer this experience&help inspire future leaders in public sfty.




#SheriffGolden was honored to attend the 18th Annual Msgr. Phil Lowery Law Enforcement Survivors Day in Seaside Heights. It was a heartfelt day of remembrance,connection& support for families of NJ’s fallen heroes. Special thx to the Storino family for making this event possible.




Day 2 of Sheriff Youth Week&recruits got hands on at the Fire Acad,climbing ladders,handling hoses&touring the smoke house. Then it was off to the Correctional Institution for a tour. @sheriffgolden thx staff for providing all w an experience that exemplifies commitment&teamwork.




It’s day one of Sheriff Youth Week&it started with a welcome to these enthusiastic HS aged students from @sheriffgolden& staff. It was then onto a Corrections Emergency Response Team interactive demo,an overview of Mon Co EMS MedStar, &the day ended w PT exercise. Gr8 job to all!

As we celebrate the July 4th Weekend @SheriffGolden&the MCSO remind all that fireworks can be terrifying for pets. Many experience extreme anxiety from the loud booms during fireworks displays.Pls consider animals before setting off fireworks. Below are tips to calm their fears.

.@SheriffGolden urges all to take precautions this Fourth of July wkend&stresses fireworks are dangerous&illegal w the exception of certain sparkling devices/novelty items. In 2024,from June 29-July 5 Mon Co 911 Comms Center received 245 calls related to fireworks.Pls stay safe.

Following numerous water rescues at the shore this past weekend, when lifeguards weren't on duty, @SheriffGolden urges all to take extreme caution & never swim without a lifeguard present. Swimming at your own risk is dangerous.MCSO reminds all to think safety while at the shore.
