What sign is giving away that a developer (or someone that writes text) is getting older? Suddenly realizing that increasing font size to 16, 18 or even more - feels better! (Happened to my wife now, I am already on 18 for a long time 😅)
TIL: Create empty closure routes when you need to add it to the Blade file, but you are not yet ready to implement the Controller itself:
“Tool ABC is amazing. Nothing is even close” - Person who ONLY used that tool their whole life.

Working with AI feels different. Sure, you code... But that's just a small part of it! Mainly, it's reviews. You don't just think about the functionality, but also review what the AI did and check if it makes sense. This process repeats with each prompt 😅
First attempt at making videos, and it may or may not have mistakes 😅 But the important thing was that I enjoyed the process and reviewing @nativephp as a tool. I can't wait to see it grow and evolve!
New video that people were actively asking for! @nativephp for Mobile: Demo Laravel Project youtube.com/watch?v=NBNYJs… So we've made a video/course on Flutter, then React Native, so NativePHP is a natural "continuation". Also: my teammate @ModestasMV is making a video debut! :)
With AI coding, you have to choose: - Do a lot of things at once - Do the things right I'm not talking about the risk of things breaking, but also your mental capacity. Remember, you (hopefully!!!) review all the code and only then accept it. That's like reviewing a PR all day!
So this has happened... Trying to record the first video, and well, it's not smooth :) There have been camera issues, noise issues (thank you for mowing the grass outside!), and tool crashes. Thankfully, found a way to access the recording - but it was scary 😱
Testing Laravel 12 starter kits: My first impression - they are awesome! Digging a bit deeper, there is some interesting stuff and some small issues, but overall, it was a great release! Can't wait to use them 💪
New stuff is coming, but we still have to cover each other! 😅
