Well, not the news I had hoped for, but I’m going to make the most of this year, improve my application and hopefully get to where I’m supposed to be in orthopedic surgery. The dream isn’t dead, just delayed. #OrthoMatch2025

In the latest work by @ReamOrtho, we forecasted the number of DO students matching into ortho over the next 10 years and found this number to be stagnant. With the number of DO applicants increasing 11% each year, match rates will continue to plummet. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39843391/
