What a way to end our summer games sport ed block. Both teams have worked so hard, but our ‘Sports Casuals’ team took the win at our culminating event today🥇 looking forward to the rest of the year with this lot!

No photos from our game today but just wanted to say a massive well done to @stmacharacademy girls netball team. Today was our first game in the ACC league in 12 years and they’ve only gone and won against a really strong side from Dyce! Proud teacher moment🌟

Thanks to @stmacharacademy for hosting our second #Oracy practitioners session this evening on learning how to talk. Practical examples shared, based on the oracy framework. Fabulous discussion and engagement.
Today I turned 28 YEARS OLD. Which means 12 YEARS AGO I was on Educating Yorkshire. Over the years, teachers have helped me to push forward in all things I doubted myself I could achieve. Teachers gave me more than an education - they gave me a future. I will forever be grateful.

Spent today’s in-service creating ideas for a PBL unit within the PE department. We ended the day taking part in a gallery walk to see what everyone came up with and to provide feedback🙌🏻 Looking forward to get this up and running in the coming months☀️
Ten pupils from @stmacharacademy have been given the unique opportunity, ahead of @AFCCT Day on Saturday (17 Feb), to design a football shirt, which will be worn by Dons players in the warm-up ahead of their match against Hibernian. orlo.uk/bvfw7 @AberdeenFC
