Evening everyone. Today was a non-gardening day as we headed into Birmingham to the theatre for a matinee performance. Didn’t think it was one I’d enjoy particularly but this production was superb and rightly got a standing ovation. I hope your day has been as positive.
Hosta June flowering in my left hand rear border. It’s the only hosta I have in my borders. The rest of my collection are in pots. This one doesn’t succumb to snails and slugs mainly because it’s situated in quite a dry area. #gardening #gardeninglife

Bought two plants two years ago and have had to be very patient while these Angelica Gigas in the front garden grew to a flowering size. Finally they are starting to and the bees, hover flies and ladybirds seem to be enjoying them. #gardening #gardeninglife
