I had my post-op visit today and my surgeon went through everything with me, taking time to answer all my questions. It was incredibly validating to know my pain and problems were real. Women - speak up for yourself and if you believe something is wrong, don’t give up.
Yesterday, I had my second surgery for endometriosis. This time, my surgeon performed excision, which is the industry standard. I’m grateful for the medical care in Baltimore. Unlike my first surgery, my recovery time is longer & will be back to work in January. Happy holidays!

I spoke with Baltimore City IG @isabel_cumming about Baltimore County CE Klausmeier's pick for IG. Cumming says Klausmeier's pick - with years of auditing experience - isn't the same as being an IG. "The skillset between an auditor and an investigator are completely different."
Congressman Johnny Olszewski tells me he would have re-appointed Kelly Madigan as IG. "While this is not the decision I would have made, I respect County Executive Klausmeier's authority to make the choice she feels is in the best interest of the people of Baltimore County."
