When these Pin/Pull Divides hit, it's a thing of beauty! xandolabs.com/the-lab/offens…
Fordham's 10 Personnel Pin/Pull scheme from our days working with Joe Moorhead. Still one of my favorite 10 Pers runs. Pardon the Jersey accent. 🤦♂️ xandolabs.com/the-lab/offens…
Is there a better boundary run than Nub side Pin and Pull?
Are you ranking each practice based on your program's core values? At Ashland-Greenwood HS (NE), each practice is graded from a 1-4 scale, with coaches (and select leadership council members) weighing in with their results. Great way to quantify effort. xandolabs.com/the-lab/progra…

For me, the key takeaway is creating a self-scout metric we all can use as OC's to evaluate ourselves. Have to admit, I kinda geeked out on this one.
New Study Identifies College Football’s Most Efficient Offensive Coordinators: 3 seasons. 8 core metrics. The results may challenge what you think you know. Here’s what we found—how we did it 👇🧵

Love the speed option check vs. these 6/7-Up Presentations. I can't stop studying Texas State's offense. Such a good staff!
Legendary DC @coachfostervt gave rat defenders two options on hug rushes: 1. If they feel like they can get immediate pressure on the quarterback in the passing game then mug up. 2. If the QB was too deep, be “searchlights” as low hole players to assist in draws and crossers.
"We don’t talk about high hat technique anymore. Screw that. We are going to zone drive them off the ball and work the combination." @CoachKKennedy
Richmond built a run game that felt like 20 personnel — without actually using two backs: xandolabs.com/the-lab/offens…
Researching gap runs vs. Odd looks and came across this beauty. The "FAT" (FB/Tackle) double team. AKA "The 4i Killa," compliments of my man @SandersDavis225 xandolabs.com/the-lab/offens…
Better from condensed looks...more spacing and less stress on the QB.
SHOOT SCREEN VIDEO 🧵: North Texas’ @Coach_Brophy turned "Cheap Yards" into a core philosophy. In this video thread, he walks you through his own game film. Let’s go to the tape... 👇
Wide Zone/Shoot Screen pre-snap RPO is all about Boundary safety rotation. "If he is rolled down and we’re not pointed outside the box, throw relief to the field. If we get strong rotation and we have good numbers, we are less aggressive to throw the shoot.” @Coach_Brophy

Hot Pressures are just more fun from 3-High looks where seams can be handled from depth. The "mad scientist" @kuchinski8 on his 3-Deep, 2-Under catalog. xandolabs.com/the-lab/defens…
Alabama A&M Jason Mai on his boundary choice menu. Post-snap decision based on the field triangle read. Used in both quick game and RPO menus. xandolabs.com/the-lab/offens… #summerinstallseries

We don't have the budget for this, but man, this is a great visual to teach players 3-deep, 3-under coverage via @JJOrtizFBall xandolabs.com/the-lab/progra… #summerinstallideas

Are you running Counter Schemes like you always have? Coaches who ‘reengineered’ the scheme averaged 5.6 yards per carry last season. Here’s how they did it 👇🧵[THREAD]
Really starting to live in the Y-detached world. Time and space allows for a more violent block. Plus, getting harder to block on the ball 7-Techs.

If you're a 3-High operation, you need to study what UCONN DC @Coach_MBrock is doing with his 3-deep, 3-under package. * FS/BS able to play double hook coverage from depth ✅ * MS handles the high post ✅ * Mixed with Field, Boundary or middle pressure (see below) ✅
More research coming on these shoot screen RPOs built off wide zone run action. * Fast flow action eliminates Mike LB from being a factor ☑️ * Built-In pre-snap control vs. weak side rotation ☑️ * Condensed formation allows for cross blocks on the perimeter ☑️ * Tempo play ☑️
"All we did was mirror the Wing T belly play and match it with a 10/11 personnel spread system." Coach Bassett, Utah State. xandolabs.com/the-lab/offens… @XandOLabs
