It's insane that people who make tens of millions a year (even billions!) pay the same amount into Social Security as someone who makes $176,000. Our country could easily keep its promises and fund Social Security for generations if we unrigged the system and fixed this.

“Today is my 89th birthday. My name is Joseph, and I am sitting here, in a retirement home, with a plate of dumplings in front of me. I don't know who made these for me, nor who will wish me a happy birthday today. I have three kids but haven't seen them in a long time. They…

These career American diplomats served our country well, were non-partisan and did not deserve to be fired at the height of their careers. We’ll be weaker without them. Historic mistake.
HAPPENING NOW!! Moving scene - tears, hugs, and cheers - inside the State Dept HQ tonight, as diplomats gathered in the lobby to clap out their laid off colleague, some of which have served for decades 👇🏻

I’ve known Ambassador Bridget Brink for decades+support her candidacy for Congress in Michigan #MI07. She is smart+courageous and served our country with great distinction and bravery under Russian missiles in Ukraine. She’ll make a difference in the House. @AmbBridgetBrink
I’ve dedicated my life to protecting democracy & fighting for freedom. It’s why we stood up to Putin and why I spoke out against Trump. My next mission: fighting for what’s right here at home. I’m running for #MI07 because it's time to put Michigan families first and fight back.
