Intake One @LDC_Uganda as you conclude clerkship, I am sure you have learnt a lot of things. Ensure you leave the placements with contacts - you will need them in future. Get some rest and belt up for two fast and furious months called 4th term. See you all soon. Nice weekend.

UPDATE- Government has received the first tranche of UGX 170 billion from the World Bank under the UGX 800 billion INVITE Project to support manufacturing and export value chains through affordable financing.
Tomorrow @LDC_Uganda , the Bar Course students will have Trial Advocacy written exam. Approach the exam like an Advocate perusing a file to prepare for a hearing. Be practical. Do not assume that the judge (examiner) knows. This exam is as practical as it gets! ! Be open minded.…
Congratulations to the students @LDC_Uganda who have completed three exams so far this week. It is not easy. It is draining. It gets tiring. But this is the only known route to achieving your dream of becoming Advocates. It is worth the fight. I believe you all can succeed!!!!
The Bar Course @LDC_Uganda is a relentless pursuit of academic and professional achievement-tomorrow is Legal Writing and Drafting. This is as much an English language exam as it is Law. You know the law already, now approach the exam confidently. You must complete it!
Tomorrow we have Professional Conduct and Ethics @LDC_Uganda . Please read the instructions well. Understand the questions. Remember your first target is to understand and write the correct answer. Do not panic. Do not overthink things. Compose yourself. Good luck. You can do it!
Someone kindly tell me what you would do to a grown man who threatens to assault and beat up your mother just because of politics!! What should one do to such a man???
As the oral exams conclude @LDC_Uganda, like an efficient fluent formula one tire change-u must shift to the upcoming written exams. The course is action packed just like the life of a busy Advocate-NO TIME TO RELAX. Pick up those notes and study. Well done on completing orals.
Orals are interesting @LDC_Uganda … students, questions from panels get repeated in different versions- but it seems you are not sharing your panel experiences in realtime and this is not nice. Fight as a group. Share questions. Pass the course. Good luck.
When doing orals @LDC_Uganda, please ensure u get sufficient rest. Appearing before a panel in an extremely tied state is not good. You must appear looking sharp like you are going for a business meeting as a CEO. Do not appear looking “fwaaaaaa”
All the students who started and did orals today @LDC_Uganda, well done. Rest and reflect on the day. You now know what it is like. Take the lessons to the next one. Those yet to start- be as courageous as you can, be very bold and focused- you can do this. Good luck.
Hope clerkship is moving on well for intake 1 @LDC_Uganda. Do your best- clerkship can also work as an interview for you to be retained- u may also need good referrals one day. Learn how the profession works as a trade. Research on LDC topics of 4th term!!. Good luck.
Orals @LDC_Uganda begin tomorrow for intake 2. If you’re in intake 2- call up a friend in intake 1 and ask them what worked for them; What didn’t work for them; what they could do differently. Remember it is an assessment - give panelists what to assess. Good luck to you all.
