Tuebrook neighbourhood PCSO's Mark and Andy attended an open day at the Joseph Lappin centre in Old Swan. The event was a great success and we were able to engage with numerous local residents. Children (& some parents!) were excited to see our police van and equipment. 😀

JAILED | Today, a man from Newsham Park has been jailed for the rape of a woman in Liverpool. James Anthony Elliott , 30 years, was sentenced to eight years in prison and issued with an indefinite restraining order at Liverpool Crown Court today. More orlo.uk/ppiO9

We can confirm that a man has been arrested after shots were fired towards a taxi in Everton earlier today. The 32-year-old man from Liverpool has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm. He will now be questioned about the incident. More here: orlo.uk/i3ZZt
