The government’s trans policy guidance for schools was meant to be published this summer. I asked the Education Secretary how many times she’s met about it with LGBT+ organisations. The answer: zero. Not once. That’s how much contempt the Tories have for the LGBT+ community.

We are appalled to hear that the Home Secretary is questioning the legitimacy of LGBTQI+ people claiming asylum in the UK. Many #LGBTQ+ people that we support every day tell us how they faced life-threatening situations back home. 🧵 #CompassionNotCruelty
