100% agreed. Zirkzee will unlock Cunha and Mbeumo massively. He can play the role Kane played at Spurs and he has the ability as well.
I definitely want to see more of Zirkzee, and we need to give Obi-Martin some time, too.
I know it's silly this early, but there is something about Zirkzee who remind me of Cantona, the delicate touch on the ball, the arrogance, find open space. He tries them flick passes all the time. Cantona said to Ole before his first game, you run, I'll find you
I want a new striker of course, but I can't be the only one who have a feeling Zirkzee will be fab in an attack with Cunha and Mbuemo.
Maybe it's just me, but the desperate cry for a new midfielder seems to me fans don't trust Mainoo. He had an off season, it happens with kids. Same time fans are mad as hell if manager don't find room for him.
We need plenty of strikers, in SAF last season our main striker, RvP, had 6 weeks without a goal, couldn't hit a barn door, but Rooney, Welbeck and Pea kept the goals coming, RvP came back to form and we won the league.
I want a new striker of course, but I can't be the only one who have a feeling Zirkzee will be fab in an attack with Cunha and Mbuemo.
Sir Alex said he was inspired by Barca at the time when he first played with a DM, one of the reasons he said was that they don't make players like Keane anymore, and he have to move on, he scouted the AM at Spurs and thought he would fit perfect, how Carrick became our first DM
Cunha-Sesko-Mbeumo without a transfer ban is better
Cunha - Isak - Mbeumo is well worth a transfer ban
When Hojlund get the ball he have a defender on his back, when Zirkzee get the ball he have space around him, this is not a coincidence, it's football intelligance
Then you’ve got Kone and Fletcher to be promoted - I think we will be fine. Signing Mbuemo and Cunha is great but we still desperately need a striker (Watkins) and then hopefully a goalkeeper - both above the need for a midfielder
I absolutely think Mainoo could be the solution to a lot of our midfield issues. Especially connecting defense to attack and playing the ball through the lines. Here’s the exact quote: lack of pace, not physicality (though it is a physical trait). Again, don’t think we need it
All they need to do is listen to Michael Carrick on Rios podcast were he said it is completely normal to have an off season when your young happened him in his third season. He didn’t turn out too bad
This is what I want to see. He obviously has areas to improve on that would help (his finishing) but his link up play with those 2 should, on paper, be fantastic
Ozzy Osbourne's Crazy Train on a xylophone is proof why every school needs a fully funded music program
I'm old enough to remember when the taxpayer gave the bankers £725,000,000,000. Would you call that socialism?
Spot on 😃👏 Argued against by scrounging Lefties wanting something for nowt 😂
I think this was excellent, maybe a bit soap at times, but a good sport series, if you love golf, this is a must watch imdb.com/title/tt317102…
