Mel Blount rips through a workout at 77. Every morning starts with 5am workout. Here he shreds through one of his favorite exercises: double-loaded band squats. Long after hanging up the cleats, Mel still trains like he’s gearing up for game day. Discipline doesn’t retire.
To conclude our rookie community week, our 2025 rookies visited with the @MelBlountYLI to participate in team-building activities and football drills with kids.
Tomorrow, the @MelBlountYLI will welcome the 2025 Pittsburgh Steelers rookie class to our facilities, where they will engage with several hundred local youth. Our theme this year is “More Than an Athlete.”
We had an incredible Youth Equine Day this past weekend! The energy, passion, and talent these young riders brought was truly inspiring. The cowgirls showed up—and showed out! We’re so proud of each participant and can’t wait to see where their dreams take them next. #MBYLI
