And exactly like I said… Poirier had nothing to win in this fight and everting to lose. Best case scenario he beat a guy that he already beat twice. Worst case is what happened tonight. The Poirier/Gaethje trilogy will go down as one of the biggest fumbles in UFC history.
From a legacy standpoint Dustin has nothing to gain and a lot to lose in this matchup. Literally makes no sense. Gaethje vs Poirier 3 was the only fight to make.
