Solid ruling today by the 8th Circuit. It gives the @fcc the freedom to modernize its media ownership rules and liberate local broadcasters to compete against digital media and better serve the public interest. @BrendanCarrFCC @OliviaTrustyFCC @AGomezFCC

I’m honored and thrilled that the #SCOTUS repeatedly cited the @fcc’s 2011 USF reform order & agreed with our legal analysis there. @coppsm @MignonClyburn and I worked hard together under @JGenachowski’s leadership to craft that first entitlement reform in decades.
Today, the United States Supreme Court issued a decision that rejected a challenge to the constitutionality of the FCC’s Universal Service Fund. FCC Chairman @BrendanCarrFCC issued the following statement:
