Happy to share that work led by grad students Zack Harmer and Jaron Thompson, with significant contributions from David Cole, is now out in the journal @ACSSynBio. This work developed out of a productive collaboration with the research groups of Zavala and Venturelli.

I'm honored and excited to share that my NSF CAREER proposal, "CAREER: Remodeling Drives Spatial Variations in Soft Tissue Mechanics and Multiscale Structure," has been selected for funding! Learn more about the work here: engineering.wisc.edu/news/with-care…
Excited to share our paper in @CellGenomics using #genomics and #machinelearing to dissect why #aneuploidy is toxic to cells and why some gene duplications are more deleterious than others. Great effort led by stellar postdoc Julie Rojas!
Controlling biology by light still feels like science fiction and the capabilities keep getting more amazing! I'm super excited to be at the AIChE Optogenetics conference in Boston and share our work with this invigorating community. #synbio @Leibniz_INM
Great first day with so much interest in our #Lumiplate! Big thanks to @AIChE for hosting such an amazing event in a beautiful location. Proud of the team for what we achieved so far. Huge thanks to everyone involved! #Biotech #Innovation #Conference2024
It's been a great start at the 4th Optogenetic Technologies and Applications Conference at @BU_Tweets, with many interested researchers and engaging conversations about our #Lumiplate. 🚀 Come see our Lumiplate in action! 🌟 #Optogenetics #Biotech #Research #OptoLumina
