Today, @LiteracyWI opened their new headquarters in Brewers Hill. This facility will help adults improve skills, learn English, earn diplomas, and pursue new opportunities.

It’s Navy Week in Milwaukee! I met with Rear Admiral Matthew Pottenburgh at City Hall as we kick off a week of events featuring Navy musicians and the Blue Angels performing at the Milwaukee Air and Water Show. Thank you to the U.S. Navy for your service to our nation!

Today is @GarySinise Day in Milwaukee! Known as an accomplished actor, Gary Sinise is deeply committed to supporting troops, veterans, and music. He and the Lt. Dan Band performed publicly in Milwaukee for the first time, supporting Skylight Music Theatre.



Five vacant homes were rehabbed and made affordable thanks to the Milwaukee Community Land Trust and @MilwaukeeDCD team. Through Homes MKE, we're creating stable homes, expanding access to ownership, and strengthening neighborhoods. We're just getting started!

The latest quarterly crime stats are in. Milwaukee is seeing continued progress. Violent crime is down 17% from this time last year. Homicides are up slightly, and that’s a concern. We remain focused on safety, and the partnerships we’re building are delivering real results.

Happy to ceremonially sign the resolution establishing a new payment in lieu of taxes from the Wisconsin Center District. It's fair for the city and fair for our convention facilities.

Stopped by the Gilbert Brown All Pro Football Camp this morning and saw something truly meaningful. Milwaukee kids were learning, growing, and staying active with support from Gilbert and his team. Programs like this make a real difference.
