The next stop on the journey. Thrilled to share that I’ve accepted a sports anchor/reporter job at WMC Action News 5 in Memphis. I’m pumped to join a legacy station in Tennessee covering all things Grizzlies, Tigers, and much more in the Mid-South.

Some of the revisionist history this week regarding Cam Newton’s career has been wild. Not saying he’s some all-time great, but he walked into the league a damn good player and at the peak of his powers, was a specimen unlike any other QB ever. If you watched him, you knew.

Never in baseball's 150-year history has a player finished a game with at least six hits, six runs and eight RBIs until Nick Kurtz tonight. His 19 total bases tie Shawn Green's single-game record -- and Kurtz had one more RBI. There's a genuine argument it is the best game ever.

1. Never said they would’ve, we have no idea if that ever got back to anyone beyond McCown, but the consequences if it did have to be considered 2. FWIW, Ra-El is much more a singular bad apple than Memphis not being able to control their locker room
UTSA is 29-3 in the Alamodome under Traylor Why are we acting like Memphis would've for sure won if they knew how to control their locker room?
UPDATE: After medical evaluation, QB Justin Fields sustained a dislocated toe in his right foot and will be day-to-day. Fields avoided serious injury and significant missed time.
