Turns out, those early season wins were a mirage in Cowtown, as Big Play VA and the Stamps offence stumble to a 20-12 loss to an Ottawa Redblacks club with a QB making his first start in more than 600 days.

Three straight convincing wins for the Calgary Stampeders…against Winnipeg, Saskatchewan, and Winnipeg again. The last two on the road vs. the CFL’s two best home field advantages. 5-1 and in first place. They had just five wins all last season.
Andre Johnson Jr. going to be filling in at boundary corner with Tyler Richardson (1 game injury list with a groin injury). Newly signed Jordan Herdman-Reed also in as another Canadian linebacker.
Three 5-game trips and then a 6-game trip to wind down the season. Easy-peasy.
#Flames 2025-26 season has been released. The final 82-game slate before the league increases to 84 games. Starts October 8th and 9th with a road back-to-back in Edmonton and Vancouver. Home opener October 11th vs. St. Louis.
