When @cityjournalism win highly commended *AND* the Hugh Cudlipp @londonpressclub student award. A phenomenal achievement following a year of hardwork for @Oli_J_Mansfield, @fifidaisymay and @jacobperkinseu. To say I'm proud of them all is a spectacular understatement.
When you find out that 3 of your @cityjournalism students have been nominated for the @londonpressclub Hugh Cudlipp Student Award

America’s AI Action Plan is ambitious, aggressive, and unmistakably Trump. In summary: Deregulate fast. Export everything. Mandate AI across government. Strip out DEI, climate, and misinformation from policy. Oh, and genome sequence all life on federal land... Sheer madness.

Just to be clear: I didn’t excuse racist rioters, I warned that unless the government addresses people’s concerns, unrest could happen again. That’s a warning, not a justification. Twisting that into support for racism or violence is dishonest and defamatory. Criticising…

I'm sorry, did you just compare The Britannia Hotel in Canary Wharf to the Waldorf Astoria?!
This is a £500/night hotel in Canary Wharf, the financial hub of London. The government has paid nearly £100,000,000 to turn it into a luxury refugee camp for illegal migrants. This would be like the government taking over the Waldorf Astoria or the Plaza in New York City.
