Please take a moment to remember and honor Trooper Drew C. Chandler who was killed in the line of duty on this day at the age of 46. While conducting a sweep of his cruiser for contraband, Trooper Chandler was pricked by a needle and contracted Hepatitis C.

Please take a moment to remember and honor Patrolman Paul M. Kennefick who was killed in the line of duty on this day at the age of 34 in a motor vehicle crash on Route 3 in Hanover. A member of the Blue Hills Mounted Unit, he was survived by his wife and three daughters.
