Thursday marked four days on the job for Commissioner LaChapelle as she got up close and personal with some of our conservation work by helping tag salt marsh sparrows at Belle Isle Marsh in East Boston as well as checking out our Universal Access Program’s kayaking program.

Stay cool in the water and learn about the creatures that make their home in Waquoit Bay - a unique environment where fresh and salt water mix - by going “seining”, or net fishing, with our staff every Wednesday and Saturday all summer long! bit.ly/451q2JT
