My father died Saturday at the age of 81. Phillip Mason never trumpeted his attributes. If you said he was perfect or that his life was extraordinary, he’d recoil. Never would he sprain his shoulder by patting himself on the back. But he was a good man, dad & grandpa. A 🧵:
He started off by going 70-plus on a punt when he was standing in the back of the end zone. Hang time was north of five seconds. It was a missile. This is what I’m talking about when I say he’s got the driver in his bag. Then he capped the period by dropping three inside the 10.
I watched this guy every saturday for 4 years at Florida and honest to god I was probably more hyped for this pick than any other that Denver made in our last draft. Crawshaw's leg is ridiculous.
So … it’s not my money, but this is the sort of structure I wish the Broncos would build on the east side of the facility once it’s reconstructed rather than another hill — with something like those fans, just to make the experience as comfortable as possible for the supporters.
Not gonna lie, this Big A$$ fans (that is their actual names) provide a good little breeze. You can always expect Steve Ross to spare no expense.

This looks like a positively awful setup to watch a baseball game unless you’re in those seats hugging home plate and the left-field line. Like hockey in a football stadium, it’s done for the novelty of the thing, not the actual quality of the viewing experience.
