Now that the study of women's 🧠 health is gaining momentum💥, I could not miss the opportunity to present a roadmap to✨advance the neuroscience of human pregnancy ✨@susanna_carmona @emilyjacobs @AnnMariedeLange & I wrote this Comment for @NatureNeuro🧵 nature.com/articles/s4159…
For Nature, women make up around 16% of corresponding authors who submit manuscripts — a percentage unchanged from 2018. Women comprise some 18% of corresponding authors who submit papers to Nature Communications and the Nature-branded research journals.
Studies point to several reasons why fewer women than men are submitting their work go.nature.com/3ZbN3I1
Meet the global team selected for Wellcome Leap’s $50M CARE (Cutting Alzheimer’s Risk through Endocrinology) program! Focused on reducing Alzheimer’s risk in women, CARE aims to cut the lifetime risk in half, potentially preventing over 50 million cases by 2050.
