On 60th Independence Day 🇲🇻 I celebrate my late grandfather who served the Maldives govt for more than 50 yrs. Zero corruption, served 3 presidencies, led customs for the longest duration, not only knew diplomacy & leadership but sincere & skillfull at so many things. #exemplary

Great Job! Should make for whole of Maldives in future
Updates for both android and iOS versions of the Male' Map app have been released...finally 🙈 New version comes with improved UI, offline search and so on. Only Male' addresses at the moment. We'll look into adding hulhumale and Villingili if we can get data
This is how journalism should be. Practical, testing and fact gathering. Any other country, in just one pharmacy, one can get all medicines..
Beys Libeytha, Beys? We made a list of essential long-term medications and visited 16 pharmacies near two major hospitals, here’s what we found.
Thinking about it.. in 60 years, we should have: 1. The number 1 maritime college and university in the world 2. Transit air hub (vrmm) 3. Largest cargo terminal in indian ocean 4. Fishing industry (raw, processing, canning) 5. World class boating industry..

Good article. I remember the times inside a lecture room at NUS 🇸🇬 where they discussed and taught about transhipment hubs (sea and air) - 2009 Today I don’t believe the sincerity is there in any administration.. Maldives would be better off been outsourced.
The Maldivian people are a truly fortunate lot – something that perhaps isn’t appreciated enough. The Maldivian people are blessed with the same things that Singaporeans have, except for sincere and capable leaders. en.sun.mv/97667
I completely agree. The idea that Maldives lacks resources is a big fat lie from politicians and officials, designed to deceive us and exploit our nation's wealth. We possess enormous resources; they simply seek control!
We were always made to believe that Maldives is a small country.. without any resources. How wrong.. with its vast water areas and islands together and location.. its a big country. Definitely one with huge potential

Govt doing business and infiltrating private sector is a backward and obsolete practice. State hospitals are unable to provide service to people at the level private sector is providing even now

If you watch the real life crime stories such as crime patrol, they find the perpetrators within a few hrs but from an area 10000 times the size of Maldives. Authorities need to do better

They removed the iconic coconut trees in Addu Link road, because it was a ‘safety hazard’.. 🥲. I’m no expert but it didn’t make sense to me because I know there can be damage from worn out branches falling but if you take care of trees that wouldn’t happen to begin with right?
I just wonder who ‘ s crazy idea was it to bring date palms to Maldives 🙃 Real heritage and real patriotism is to uphold our own true nature and natural resources endemic to Maldives aka the Maldivian Coconut Palm 🌴 Bring it back
sun.mv/208120 Great article @Ahmedsaail As a person educated frm Singapore & attended numerous trainings, it is so simple to actually apply world’s best teachings to one’s own country. Unless the educated is given a chance, Maldives will never reach its potential
MMPRC should be abolished. Govt should only regulate and facilitate and let private sector do the marketing.
