A man ran from an M&S in Romford with a basket of stolen goods. Officers chased him down on bikes, donated by Romford BID and built by Smyths Toys. This is community policing in action, helping keep local people and businesses safe.

On 23, July Reagan Mambo, 34 was charged with GBH relating to an assault in May 2025. He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance in August. Thanks to the exceptional hard work & dedication from EA’s Volume Crime Team who worked tirelessly to secure a charge.

On 23, July, local officers took part in a Live Facial Recognition operation in Romford. 4 arrests were made - shoplifting, breach of harassment order, assault and failing to appear at court. Local MP's joined officers to see how the technology works & to speak to officers.

Yesterday, officers from @MPSGooshays stopped and searched a man & woman on Faringdon Avenue. A large quantity of wraps, believed to contain class A drugs, were found. One woman, 52, was arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs. The investigation continues.

Recently, officers from Havering did a drugs warrant on an address in Romford which is believed to be supplying drugs. Items relating to drug dealing were seized by officers. A 49-year-old man was arrested & a woman was removed from the address. A closure order was put in place.

FREE SPORTS SESSIONS!! This summer, Air Network will deliver twice-weekly sessions over a 10-week period, offering structured sports and wellbeing-based engagement for young people aged between 12-18 in Havering. Sessions run every Monday and Thursday from 2pm to 4:30 pm.

#HJTF pursued a vehicle around Noak Hill, suspected of being involved in tool thefts. The vehicle collided with several others, causing substantial damage. The two occupants were arrested for numerous offences & the driver has been charged and remanded.
