Tweeting about #MNTwins of the past, present & future since 2009…
Everyday I get older the more thankful I am I saw the #MNTwins win the World Series not once, but twice.
Put the ball in play & good things may happen. Twins up 3-2 in the 8th.
Kody Clemens defense kept that inning from being really messy, Twins down 2-1.
Paddack was great today except for one pitch. A needed outing, sort of a de facto tryout before the trading deadline.
Royce Lewis hits another HR. He’s now hitting .314 snd slugging .523 since June 1st.
“Anyone can be successful in baseball if he follows the path of Bob Allison. All you have to do is be 6’4”, strong as a weightlifter, handsome as a shirt model, have the personality of an honor graduate of Dale Carnegie & also work your head off” ~Leonard Schechter/Sport Magazine

Twins try to win the Dodgers series at 3:00 today. Paddack needs a good start for the team & his trade value.

OTD in 1974: Rod Carew steals a base in the All Star Game and other great action from that 3rd inning.
Today in 1974 Rod Carew was the lone Twins representative at the All Star game. This was the impressive prepared graphic for him.

Harmon Killebrew hitting a HR off Don Drysdale in Game 4 of the 1965 World Series at Dodger Stadium.
Ohtani is just incredible. All of his at bats are must sees.
Shohei Ohtani hit a 100-mph sinker from Jhoan Durán for an opposite-field HR. Considering the pitch, location (outside corner), pitcher, and where the ball landed . . . that’s one of the most impressive home runs I’ve ever seen. @MLBNetwork
Harmon Killebrew has the most HRs by a Twin at Dodger Stadium? Didn’t see that one coming…

Jeff Bittiger passed away over the weekend. He pitched 3 games for the 1987 #MNTwins. His only start was impressive going 7 innings w/ just 1 run on 6 hits & 0 walks. It was on Sept 7th & kept the division lead at 3 gms. I remember this game because the win was so unexpected.
