I know it's heresy for many middle incomers to discourage rebates. But, remember that many millions don't actually need the rebate (but they're obligated to receive them) and other millions are freeloaders on welfare and MedicAid. There's no way to separate out those others.

If jobs are based on meritocracy, why should Federal judges be appointed for life, when it's unknown how efficient they'll be. We know that despite impressive credentials, some judges become only ideological activists. Let's limit judges' terms until they prove themselves.

Eventually, we must distinguish American citizens' rights under the laws and Constitution from the rights owed to foreigners coming to this country. They are entitled to only human rights and the most basic civil rights. Otherwise, there's little value in being a citizen.

There is no reason for Federal judges to receive lifelong appointments. If they were elected, it would be for only four to six years. Ten years should be the maximum number of years for a Federal judge to serve. Afterward, they could be considered for a five year renewal.
